20 Things You Should Never Apologize For (And 10 You Totally Should)

I agree that women have the tendency to apologize way too often for things that they didn’t even do.

If someone bumps into me, the only time I let it slide is if it’s completely unintentional. But if you’re walking through a store with a metal shopping cart while on your cell phone, ignoring everything and everyone in your visual field, and you hit me in the back, I am going to contemplate whether the jail time is worth it for being hit in a spot that can cause serious harm. If you don’t get the hell off the phone and apologize immediately, I am definitely going to say something in a tone that isn’t anywhere near polite. Especially if you just did it in front of your children, thus giving off the impression that it is acceptable behavior. I don’t care if you’re male or female, that is just plain wrong.

I’m NEVER going to apologize for being myself and speaking my mind. I am not going to neuter myself to appease others.

Being Too Nice Can Contribute To Depression

So can 1000 other things. I think we can all safely agree that I won’t be winning any niceness awards anytime soon closing in on NEVER. I’m sort of relieved! LOL.

P.S. I take depression very seriously, so don’t assume my warped humor is directed towards something real and life-altering.

Seven Reasons The Blunt Friend Is The Best Friend You’ll Ever Have

Having read this, I feel pretty damn good about the kind of friend I am to others.

I had a “masquerading friend” break up with me via e-mail several months ago. Not only do I find it as low as breaking up with a girlfriend/boyfriend via text or social media, but it shows me who the person really is. I don’t have time for crap like that, or crappy people.

Why We Must All Stand Against Anti-Semitism, Now More Than Ever

Israeli students were turned away from historical sites in France for no other reason than the fact that they are Jewish and from Israel. David is right, anti-Semitism is running rampant and it’s NOT acceptable.

Like David, I am Jewish. Two of my cousins were freedom fighters during the Holocaust and saved countless lives. There is an enormous difference between freedom of speech and the “say whatever I feel without any consequence” attitude. I liked Trevor Noah…and I was disgusted to hear those comments had ever been made in his comedy because I’ve watched him for years and not once did I hear an anti-Semitic remark.

I’m sharing this for the right reasons. I hope you read it with good intentions in your heart.
