Lisa Marino-Molchanova has covered a wide array of genres and subject matter for her entire career, acquiring the nickname “Miss Poison”, from readers. Her works in progress include a series of dark urban fantasy novels with historical fiction & mythology at the heart, five genre-specific romance novels, and a psychological thriller, all of which are a challenge to her comfort zone. Two are being finalized for mass market publication.

She tackles subjects outside the nonfiction realm for regular posts; discussing everything from mental healthcare, interpersonal relationships, selective and systemic racism, to how to be your own advocate when dealing with any form of chronic illness. Sports, life, death, grief, and women’s issues are at the core of her writing background, but she broadens her horizons every time she puts ink to paper. Facts, not fiction, are her first love within the world of words. She is an experienced freelance editor, self-taught and experienced in Public and Fan Relations, having worked for multiple professional athletes, as well as Patient Advocacy.
