Depression began at around age six for me. It has escalated into something that tries to take over my life on a daily basis. For me, it is hereditary. It is also treatment-resistant. So, I suffer silently because no one gives a damn to hear me or see past someone who “look normal”. I hope I’m able to “not look normal” one day and get it right, so as not to confuse others!
