From Dust…
“From dust thou art to dust returneth, was not spoken of the soul.”
-Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
Massachusetts State Primary
If today is your state primary, too, please don’t make excuses. Vote like your life depends on it, because the past eight months (especially considering how poorly Covid 19 has been handled in this country) is proof positive of how badly we need things to change for the better. Let’s consider the increased escalation of violence and hate crimes, too. There will never be an end to racism, but we can do a hell of a lot better, and most of us know this.
I voted with the future in mind. I voted for an important platform which holds great meaning for about 60% of the work I do. Granted, this primary ballot is for state Senate and Congress, but if things don’t change at that level, then they cannot change elsewhere.
To quote a late friend, “Enough is enough and it’s time for a change!” Damn right, brother. Damn right.
I hope that when the final results come in, I will be able to sleep with a little more peace in my heart.
P.S. Make sure you are registered for November 3rd no matter where you reside. Do not allow fear tactics to deter you from making your voice heard. Every.Vote.Counts.
This Is Surreal

Tomorrow is September. My brain can hardly comprehend this fact. But I am leaving one month for another, on a high note.
Final Caturday of August

With all the unrest going on, I hope someone gets a smile or chuckle out of these. Laughter is good medicine.
