Israeli students were turned away from historical sites in France for no other reason than the fact that they are Jewish and from Israel. David is right, anti-Semitism is running rampant and it’s NOT acceptable.

Like David, I am Jewish. Two of my cousins were freedom fighters during the Holocaust and saved countless lives. There is an enormous difference between freedom of speech and the “say whatever I feel without any consequence” attitude. I liked Trevor Noah…and I was disgusted to hear those comments had ever been made in his comedy because I’ve watched him for years and not once did I hear an anti-Semitic remark.

I’m sharing this for the right reasons. I hope you read it with good intentions in your heart.

Stand Up For Your Cats

I am the first person to admit that I am not married and I currently have a cat who will turn two later this year and a nine month old kitten. Cats are far more independent animals than dogs, but they’re also my spirit animal to some extent. I’m definitely NOT stereotypical.

Felines Of New York

This should lighten the mood for many of you. I was once asked why I went to North Shore Animal League to adopt two kittens when I could have gone someplace local. My response was “I’m from New York. I want cats with attitude.” 😉 Of course, as I speak, there’s more attitude in my house than necessary. People talk about certain types of cats having more personality or attitude than others, and they’re right. However, I would not trade that in for anything.

Diary Of A Surgery

I had to read this through tears. It’s still making me tear up as I go on with my day.

In truth, she didn’t have to talk about this publicly. It takes a lot of courage to do so. I have nothing but respect for her decision to openly and honestly talk about it, thus encouraging others to do the same. Anyone directing hate at her should take a long look in the mirror before going there.

I think it’s so important for women to know that they have options and not to allow fear to rule their choices. Knowledge IS power.
