“But the stars that marked our starting fall away. We must go deeper into greater pain, for it is not permitted that we stay.” ―Dante Alighieri
Quotes
I See A Pattern
“My life seemed to be a series of events and accidents. Yet when I look back, I see a pattern.” ―Benoît B. Mandelbrot
The Only True Borders…
“The only true borders lie between day and night, between life and death, between hope and loss.” ―Erin Hunter
Lost Opportunities, Lost Possibilities
“Lost opportunities, lost possibilities, feelings we can never get back. That’s part of what it means to be alive. But inside our heads – at least that’s where I imagine it – there’s a little room where we store those memories. A room like the stacks in this library. And to understand the workings of our own heart we have to keep on making new reference cards. We have to dust things off every once in awhile, let in fresh air, change the water in the flower vases. In other words, you’ll live forever in your own private library.” ―Haruki Murakami
The Most Dangerous People In The World
“The most dangerous people in the world are not the tiny minority instigating evil acts, but those who do the acts for them. For example, when the British invaded India, many Indians accepted to work for the British to kill off Indians who resisted their occupation. So in other words, many Indians were hired to kill other Indians on behalf of the enemy for a paycheck. Today, we have mercenaries in Africa, corporate armies from the western world, and unemployed men throughout the Middle East killing their own people – and people of other nations – for a paycheck. To act without a conscience, but for a paycheck, makes anyone a dangerous animal. The devil would be powerless if he couldn’t entice people to do his work. So as long as money continues to seduce the hungry, the hopeless, the broken, the greedy, and the needy, there will always be war between brothers.” ―Suzy Kassem
Things
“Things don’t always work out the way we hope. You just have to pick yourself up and find a new direction to go in.”
―Joelle Charbonneau
Transition
“There is no death! What seems so is transition; this life of mortal breath is but a suburb of the life elysian, whose portal we call Death.” -Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
Anxiety Was Born…
“Anxiety was born in the very same moment as mankind. And since we will never be able to master it, we will have to learn to live with it—just as we have learned to live with storms.” ―Paulo Coelho
There Is No Way…
“There is no way that a person who treats others badly when he is unhappy is a good person. A good person is a person who treats others well even when unhappy.” ―Mehmet Murat Ildan
I agree.
Dear Child
“Dear Child,
Sometimes on your travel through hell, you meet people who think they are in heaven, because of their cleverness and ability to get away with things. Travel past them, because they don’t understand who they have become, and never will. These types of people feel justified in revenge and will never learn mercy or forgiveness because they live by comparison. They are the people that don’t care about anyone, other than who is making them feel confident. They don’t understand that their deity is not rejoicing with them because of their actions, rather he is trying to free them from their insecurities, by softening their heart. They would rather put out your light than find their own. They don’t have the ability to see beyond the false sense of happiness they get from destroying others. You know what happiness is, and it isn’t this. Don’t see their success as their deliverance. It is a mask of vindication which has no audience, other than their own kind. They have joined countless others that call themselves “survivors”. They believe that they are entitled to win because life didn’t go as planned for them. You are not like them. You were not meant to stay in hell and follow their belief system. You were bound for greatness. You were born to help them by leading. Rise up and be the light home. You were given the gift to see the truth. They will have an army of people that are like them and you are going to feel alone. However, your family in heaven stands beside you now. They are your strength and as countless as the stars. It is time to let go!
Love,
Your Guardian Angel”
