Another murdered Jew. Another elder killed. Hate is a global issue, a global disease, and it has affected two of my communities this week. I’m angry. Prayers aren’t enough. Talking about it through regular media outlets is NOT enough. Words have power, but only when strong voices use them properly. Only when organized outrage makes it clear that we will NOT tolerate this. We must band together. Where’s Your Outrage 😡😥

Over the coming days, weeks, and months, you will be seeing me talk about this, and other acts of racism and hate. I had already started writing about this subject before Tuesday night’s heinous actions. I am tired of this, and worse, I am tired of listening to women post about how this WASN’T an attack on the Asian American community. Some people are exceptionally out of touch and I don’t have the tolerance for it. Educate yourself completely before you make declarations.

I am more than numb to the violence within my cultural communities. Numb to the point where my facial reactions give nothing away. I probably just need some time at the range. 😦 I will share a legal fundraiser ASAP.
