My thoughts and prayers are with everyone who was affected by the tornados that ripped through multiple states last night and early this morning. I will be making a donation on behalf of this website to the first organization I feel is making the most impact on the ground. So many people are without power, and many more are left with nothing. Over a hundred people have died.

I have never been more relieved to hear back from a friend and know that she and her family are safe and sound, and that the tornado that went past their home did not touch down. It really puts life into perspective. It’s been twenty years since I felt relief at receiving a message letting me know that someone is okay.

Today was rough, and I know there will be many rough days for those directly affected. Here’s hoping we can collectively ease some of that burden.
