Thus far, I’ve loved all three songs released from, “Lover”. I’m pre-ordering her Target exclusive, which is something I haven’t done in years (Reputation was a gift from my cousin, and she made sure I got both Target exclusives on release day!). I’ll have all eighteen songs memorized in a few days. My brain is probably 40% song lyrics.

Lyrics are the first thing I read whenever an artist I love releases new material. It’s the easiest way to know if a song speaks to you, or not. Very few artists/bands seem to write about my life, my pain, my heart, and/or my experiences. But when someone does, it’s utterly magical in a way I can’t fully describe without sounding like I work for Hallmark.
