Far too many people suppress themselves to appease others. I adamantly REFUSE. We all tell our children they can be anything they want to be, and over time, we dull their shine and the shine of others by laughing at hopes, dreams, and goals. There is little support in this world, but mountains full of criticism. Isn’t it high time that be reversed?
This is one of the most fabulous things I’ve read in a while. As a writer, I come across a lot of negativity for my successes. There’s so much jealousy, and yet none of it comes from me. I do not see other people as competition. Support people if you want to be supported in kind. You catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar.
Keep this in mind today when you’re trying to figure out the Monday Blues AND the fact that it is now March.
