Do Not Be Discouraged By The Distance…

I found this inspirational and thought I would share it with everyone.

I hope you are all having a good start to the week. I’m…well, there’s not really a word for what I am. I got slammed with a migraine yesterday afternoon and I’ve been sick ever since. The second migraine that I woke up with stopped a little while ago.

I have chills. I’m wrapped in a big, fluffy blanket and I’m wearing socks. My stomach is killing me, and I keep wondering if this is *just* migraine related. Realistically, how many people get the flu during the summer? 😦

I think my friend Wendy is right. I need to go back to taking vitamins every day to help with my immune system and whatever else I can do in order to improve certain aspects of my health. (Waves to Wendy.) Does anyone have any experience using Emergen-C?

The Imagination

“The Imagination merely enables us to wander into the darkness of the unknown where, by the dim light of the knowledge we carry, we may glimpse something that seems of interest. But when we bring it out and examine it more closely it usually proves to be only trash whose glitter had caught our attention. Imagination is at once the source of all hope and inspiration but also of frustration. To forget this is to court despair.” ―William Ian Beardmore Beveridge

If You Are To Be A Healer…

“If you are to be a healer you must understand that the biggest difficulty facing people with a problem is rarely the problem itself, but the fear that nobody else understands it. If nobody else understands it, the prospect of finding a solution can seem very dim. That is why the feeling of not being understood leads to desperation. And, conversely, the feeling that someone else understands moves people back from the brink and opens the door to discussion.” -Neale Donald Walsch
