  1. It’s very appropriate for the weather here in the uk today!

        • Wind storms have become “normal”, and some of them are scarier than other weather patterns. I’ve spent many nights awake because I kept imagining a tree being uprooted into my bedroom because I’ve never seen such a large tree move so much.

The sun is rising right now, but rain is expected today with light snow later on. It explains my pain levels, which are always heightened when the pressure rises.

  2. I was once told by a RAF meteorologist that it is impossible for air pressure to effect people physically. He might have been highly trained but he was also highly ignorant!!
I was out for a few hours yesterday and it was drizzly and cold and my pain levels shot up.
    (((hugs)))

    • He was a meteorologist, not a doctor. People shouldn’t talk about things they don’t know anything about. In all fairness, many doctors don’t consider weather and pain levels, they don’t bother to factor it in, but there is a web-site that handles weather and one of the tabs on their site says “Pain Index”. It might only work in the U,S. (I haven’t used it in a while because I’ve been using the app on my phone.), but it’s a very real thing. If it goes over a 5, my body goes insane with pain. Rain, snow, storms, it all causes me to not be okay. I can tell you it’s going to rain even if it’s not in the forecast because my body starts reacting about 1-3 days beforehand. It’s raining now and my spine is so stiff, I feel like there’s a surgical rod in there. It’s unbearably painful.
I hope you’re feeling less pain today.

  3. I’ll have a look for a UK version 🙂
I’m not quite as sensitive as you, but I do know if its raining the second I wake up by how I feel. Also, the day of the solar eclipse three out of the 5 of us were headachey.
I used to work with the ex-RAF guy. He was asking about FM and I was explaining it to him. I had no idea of his previous job until I mentioned about how the weather affects me and he just kind of exploded into this rant lol. I remember feeling bemused at the time and glad he wasnt a friend lol.
April’s not a great month weatherwise so roll on May! (((hugs))) for all your hurtiness.
